Mission
The Institute for Strategic Analysis (Strateji Təhlil İnstitutu) is a Baku-based independent analytical center established in July 2017, with focus on political, economic, military, cyber security, energy issues in the South Caucasus region of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia, as well as in Iran, Russia, Turkey and Central Asian countries; relations among those countries as well as with the European countries and organizations.
STRATI is a branch of non-governmental organization Regional Research Public Union (RRPU). Our mission is to conduct high-quality, unbiased, independent researches, produce concise feature stories and analytical reports in English language on developments in the countries of our interest. Our pieces also provide relevant, balanced, objective, precise and authoritative background information.
We have a large and constantly growing network of freelance correspondents and columnists covering Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia, Iran, Russia, Turkey, and European countries and organizations. Our goal is to analyze, promote and contribute to the development of cooperation in the abovementioned countries.
STRATI aims to bring to the public attention the developments in the South Caucasus, increasing the public’s awareness and knowledge about this region, and the region’s relations with Europe.
This coverage is strengthened by contents from influential think-tanks, news agencies and syndicated content from other quality online publications.
STRATI is committed to work collaboratively with foreign and local think tanks, academic institutions, non-profit organizations or foundations addressing the economic, social and political issues. The think-tank is a member of Brussels-based European Policy Center and the International Institute for Strategic Studies based in London.
